The mouth is 4.6 inches across, so there's plenty of room for a Chihuahua or a Great Dane to get their whole snout in and drink like they would from the bowl at home.
Honestly, every dog we've put it in front of either dove right in or warmed up to it after a quick sniff, so if yours has only ever known one of those floppy silicone bowls, just give it a fill and they'll come around. -
Because the mouth is so wide, you can fit your whole hand inside and actually reach every surface.
Give it a wipe with a sponge, or just toss it on the top rack of the dishwasher and forget about it. Honestly, most days a quick rinse does the trick. -
The bowl is molded from BPA-free Eastman Tritan™, the same kind of material you'll find in the good water bottles that survive years of abuse, and the lid is impact-resistant polypropylene.
It's built to get knocked off a rock, dropped in the driveway, or tossed in the bottom of your pack without cracking, and it won't hold onto smells the way cheaper plastic does.

You have 30 days from delivery to send it back unused, in the original box, with the lid and any extras. Email us first and we’ll send a return address. You cover return shipping, and we refund the product once it’s back.
Engraved lids are made to order, so we can’t take them back for a change of name or design. Return details

For sure. Scoop in up to 4 cups of kibble, twist the lid on for the drive, and set it down when it's time to eat.
Water is really what we originally built it for, but plenty of folks use it for meals on road trips and overnights, and the leakproof lid means your car doesn't end up smelling like dog food if you forget it in the backseat.
